In a monastery, in the Pyrenees, a monk witnesses a miracle … or an act of the devil.
A sow stands, walks towards him and, after much suffering, gives birth to a human baby. After giving birth, it falls into the mud and disappears without a trace.
The event comes to the church’s attention and the Holy Inquisition sends Lucius, one of its members, to investigate the event.
What does the baby look like?
